TL;DR: Get Microsoft Office Home and Business for Mac or Microsoft Professional Plus for Windows for £23.93 each.

Whether you’re a student or professional, reliable productivity apps may come in handy. You might already have Microsoft 365 installed on your computer, but paying for a subscription isn't the only way to get apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Instead, you could get a lifetime license to an older version that still works great.

Microsoft Office 2019 comes with many of the same apps you’d get with Microsoft 365, just less modern versions that still perform many of the same functions, minus the monthly subscription fees, and they’re yours for life. Normally a lifetime license to Microsoft Office 2019 for Mac or Windows would cost over £150, but for a limited time, it’s only £23.93.

The Windows and Mac versions are slightly different. Windows users get Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote, Publisher, and Access. These are the 2019 versions of the same apps you might already have on your PC, but now you don’t have to pay for them every month or year.

This is a one-time purchase that you can install on one computer for life. For students, that means one software suite that they could rely on when they start university all the way to their first job. For professionals, it means no more budgeting for the apps you need to do your job.

Microsoft Office for Mac also comes with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote, but Publisher and Access are Windows only. However, Mac users also get Teams Classic. And just like the Windows version, you only have to pay once to get these apps for life.
