thank you Andy great video.
Nice little pistol, that! Be interesting to see the update once the rifled barrels have landed.
Morning All, I think Barra should make a wheel gun and call it the wheel barra
morning
😂
ouch that hurt lol
And they could make one dedicated to Ry Cooder.
😂😂😂
Very nice video - thank you. Would love to see you do a follow-up video comparing the BB version (steel and plastic - the the smooth bore barrel) vs pellet (in the rifled barrel [AND the .177 vs .22]) for accuracy.
Very….. very nice 😃 And accurate ! Wow
A really beautiful collector-piece.
Surprising result with the shorter barrel being more accurate than the longer version. Personally I like the look of the authentic worn ones.
A few things . First the longer barrel version was made for the military, but did not gain widespread acceptance, the main reason being the Schofield round was shorter and the cylinder was too short to use the more powerful 45 Colt. When Uberti brought out a 45 Colt version they lengthened the frame window and cylinder. When Barra started marketing the Schofields , I suggested that they offer a rifled barrel 177 version that would use cartridges identical to Al to the Umarex Peacemaker revolvers. They now offer rifled barrels to swap out the bb barrels. I have found the bb barrels to be very accurate with bb and pelmet shells. The 5 inch barrel version arose when surplus military revolvers were sold to distributors and cut down. Many were sold to Wells Fargo and Pinkerton Agents. I had seen a shorter barrel prototype years ago of a 31/2 barrel version, but so far Barra has not offered them. A must have revolver for airgun old west fans
Thanks for sharing this. Ray
I’d love it if they made a Colt Navy.
I had suggested to Umarex that they offer a Colt Open Top, as well as a Navy that loaded the pellets like a Blackpowder pistol and seated with a rammer. Umarex has basically pulled out of the replica air pistol lineup it seems
Great review thanks
Happy Friday Andy , wow great choice`s here from Barra. They look so real ... Great review and thanks for your hard work Cheers from Yorkshire
Nice gun for shooting cans. Different cans.
Thank you Andy for your detailed Videos , I'm loving watching them 😊
Like the weathered finish
Come on, he looks good for his age…
(Sorry Andy, just a joke!)
if there is even a hint of a complement in there, I’ll take it! haha 😂
Siempre me ha gustado ese revolver y ahora más con esa versión en cromo. Gracias por el video
It’s nice to see. That you can get 177 change kit. I which other companies would do the same. I teach kids 10m air rifle and pistol shooting. It would be great to show them some history with this try of air guns and most ranges. You can only shoot with pallets.
As a kid I'd have loved one of these.
So..... I'd like one of these 😂
5" more accurate than I was expecting too!
Could have done with a few shots from the hip aka Kid Curry style 😂
They are from the same supplier as the ASG. All from Wingun?
But do you like them ?
Yes they are
Oh ok interesting. so how come they have different barrel lengths? Asg do 6 inch is it to do with licensing?
@ here’s the fun part. They are both the same. Overall length of both ASG and Barra is 12.6”. Both have equal length outer barrel shrouds. Both shrouds are 7” and both have 6.4” inner barrels.
@@CaptDAR thanks for your reply well really interesting. looks like it might be something to watch out for when looking at specs. I’m really hoping that Andy will do a follow up with the rifled barrel swap ,and fly some pellets through it. That would also explain why the asg shells also fit the barra.
Are those barrels full stainless steel just wondering
I have just bought and will use it today the weathered pistol 7" with the speed loader so thanks for this info' .
Nice.
I suspect they've been removing my notifications on other channels. Good test Andy thankyou.
Very nice i have several pistols but not one revolver i need to rectify that
Never been this early 😂
The cowboy stuff isn't usually my thing, but these Barra pistols quite appeal. I think I'd go for 7" distressed, and in .22 to really show the tin cans who's boss.
prefer the webley :)
A😘💕👍👍
Poor eyesight? I wish I could shoot a pistol so well! You are just being modest.
Why do they always make these so under powered? My £60 Daisy Powerline 415 is nearly 500fps, I expect more power for the money. I know they're not meant for serious shooting, but still.

Stop using the stupid bench rest and start shooting western revolvers like a real man. Single handed standing or are you frightened of missing the barn door. You could have mentioned that the Webley MKV1 pellet in .177 and .22 shells also fit (both pistols being made by WinGun Taiwan) this is a nice option when you fit the desirable rifled barrels instead of using bbs. I currently have 3 rifled, 2 in 22 and one in 177.
That location ain't Dodge City and Andy ain't Bill Hickock. Lol
