Weird thing is, usually in ITTF events, Japanese players almost always can't compete with Chinese players, but in event like this, they can be quite dominant. 😂 I wonder why.

Lin has powerful backhand loop, but usually one round. Usually that one doesn't come back. But when Harimoto blocks it back, Lin just can't do nothing about it.

LSD’s mistake was getting into BH to BH rallies with Harimoto. That’s Harimoto’s entire game and forte, he’s playing Harimoto’s game, not his.
LSD should have changed his strategy to pressure harimoto on the defense. The entire game was 80% bh to bh rallies.

well, Hugo played with this Lin in 2023 and Hugo won. Lin has an issue handling powerful loops from Hugo and Fan zendong.
