That would require someone on F95 to join Inno's Subscribestar. Or one of her paypigs to join F95 and share the exe. Not a very high chance for either to occur, but you never know; we might get lucky.

Someone please remake this game (no current developer, you dont have an ounce of credibility left, stay away), I as well as countless more would love to support even if its just a monthly update!

Not only would it be an illegal breach of copyright, it would also be much MUCH more effort involved than any regular person would be willing to do. ...although DREAMING of it to happen is something you're not alone about wishing would happen. Still, it's an impossibility for it to happen as it is.
Ah! Finally! It worked for me with just an "ojdk v17 msi installer from microsoft". I've just marked that I need path and home during the installation process (it's optional and unchecked by default). I thought that only v8 should work and struggled with it. ojdk 17 worked right out of the box!

Oh look. Another fix that should've been merged ages ago that's still on the todo list. What could be more important than making sure your game can build when most of the contributions come from randoms?

Figuring out how to delay for longer without straight up saying "Fuck you, keep paying me and MAYBE I'll release it next time instead of delaying it again."
Just give the bill to Inno, you'll probably get it paid in... iunno, half a year if we're being generous?

Naw. I'll just do what I did the last two times Inno pissed me off: Make mediocre fan art of Meraxis. I'm thinking about actually finishing a 3d model this time. Even drafted some concepts.

No one could recreate liliths throne, it would take at least a month for the engine and basic gameplay, a few days to lay down map tiles with copy pasted descriptors next to each other with no content in them, a day to write the extremely basic sex dialogue, and years of effort to get people to make clothes sprites for you. That's just too much effort to expect someone on their deathbed with every disease known to man on earth to do, so thank Innoxia for taking one for the team.

I actually experimented with remaking the Lilith's Throne engine, but then I became less horny and went to do something more productive. Her source code is actually pretty interesting, definitely recommend taking a look.

I just installed JDK 20 and it worked
I would love to work on the code but in all these years I have never been able to get it to compile properly, despite walking through it with other devs.

Ok, I am a mac user and for some reason I cannot open the .jar file. Everytime I try it, it either refuses to launch or shows an error window. Is there a reason? I have JDK17 installed and all, but it still not working. It used to work before i updated my Java.

Considering we're talking direct recreation of the game, there wouldn't even be a court case - it'd be instant crackdown. It's not comparable to modding at all. Trying would just be a waste of time and effort, as Innoxia or any of the white knights would immediately be on the case of anyone trying.
