I'm baaaaack!
I know I've been very scarce for a long while because I was off working on a super major project which I finally completed and huzzah I'm FREE AGAIN! So I'm trying to get back to arting to stave off anxiety and boredom in these strange times.
Now, Zuri has always been my whipping girl for self expression, and this sequence is no different honestly. Like all of us I've spent the last couple of weeks working from home, isolating myself to help. However that puts me in rather unfortunate proximity to my kitchen... I think you all know where this is going.

Quarantine Hazards
It had only been a few days since Zuri had started working from home. Officials had given a shelter in place order a few days ago and everyone was staying home to avoid catching a strange and virulent plague, but also to avoid spreading it. Zuri was more than happy to work from home, it was a chance to catch up without all the hubbub of the office and coworkers busting into her office. It also meant she could indulge in snacks and treats without any of those sideways glances from the water cooler. Fortunately delivery service was still running as well, so she could get food delivered and didn't even have to leave her house to get her favorite foods.
"I deserve a little treat, everyone is kind of stressed out.. just a few doughnuts from Donut King.."
She tapped on her keyboard, and brought up the website, ordering from her favorite doughnut place the best doughnuts in town. Shortly, a dozen of the finest donuts in town were deposited on her door step, and after fetching them Zuri settled down to do some editing on her latest column. She hardly noticed she'd blown through the full dozen until she reached into the box and discovered that there weren't any left.
"Oh.. damn.. I'll have to order more next time..."
